Crip Captured

Meet Crip! She's a female loepard gecko, and a high yellow morph. She was also my first gecko i got from Petco three years ago. She a tiny bit larger than Stevie, and her tail is intact. But bein' female, Stevie's gonna grow larger than her. Thankfully for her, Stevie's got his own cage to prevent him from breeding with my girls who share the same tank.

Crip got her name cuz oneof her back legs is actually pretty lame. Yet, she eats way better than her tankmates, and is a better hunter. She's also the largest...or at least for now until Stevie out sizes her!

Fact- Leos are named so not only because of their leopard-like pattern and coloration, but they even hunt just like them! When an insect prey is spotted, they will creep up slowly and stealthy-like until they are within striking range. Then, they vigorously shake the tips of their tails against the ground making a rustling sound, and finally...WHAM they strike at their prey!!
