Description

Crip, Peach, Latte, Gimp, and Kat, together in peace and harmony. You see, differences CAN be put aside, and a new relationship is unearthed! Who would've thought that Leos and Fat-tails could co-exist in such a manner. I keep all 5 together in the same tank sicne they're all female and young. I heating pad is on one side where the shed box is, and serves as a haven for the 2 fat-tails for humidity reasons. Stevie, my male, has his own tank. All tanks are topless. Why? both gecko species have claws instead of sticky toes, so they cannot climb up smooth surfaces!

WARNING

I highly advise y'all NOT to mix the two species together. Yes, it's true that both species are related, but still, DO NOT mix 'em together. Leos are fine in drier climates, but AFT's need a more humid environment. Plus, they can be rather aggressive towards eachother.

However, it IS possible to mix 'em together provided certain factors (hatchlings the same age, large enough tank for each of the animal's needs, feeding adn watering needs, etc.). I'm able to do this cuz I have experience with pet reptiles as advanced as monitors and pythons. But to all you who are wanting a pet gecko, get only one or the other. And if you get two of the sam especies, make sure they're both the same age and both female. Two males kept together will kill eachother as they grow older. Only keep a single male per enclosure.
